Class bookings and renewals, moved entirely online.
Velaia is a fitness studio whose members booked classes by phone and renewed in person. The studio wanted the whole membership lifecycle on the site.

The brief
What the client came with
Velaia is a fitness studio whose members booked classes by phone and renewed in person. The studio wanted the whole membership lifecycle on the site.
The challenge
The design problem to solve
Replace a phone-and-front-desk booking routine with a site members trust enough to use at 6am — and make renewals a tap, not a conversation.
The approach
Research, wireframes, style
Research
We shadowed front-desk staff for a week and logged every booking friction point. The site had to remove them, not mirror them.
Wireframes
A scene-by-scene flow: class, coach, time, book — with renewal and membership living one tap from the home fold.
Style exploration
Cinematic: dark, filmic tones with a condensed display and red reserved for moments of impact.
The build
Key screens, responsive, motion
Key screens
Home, schedule, coaches, membership, renewal and account — thirty-nine templates on one booking backbone.
Responsive
The schedule becomes a day-stacked sheet on mobile so a member can book a class with one thumb.
Motion
Slow push-ins and crossfades with scroll-driven pacing — the site reads like a trailer for the studio.
The redesign
Before, and after

“They translated a complicated offer into something a visitor understands in seconds.”
Takeaways
What we'd keep
- 01Moving booking online freed front-desk time for members in the room.
- 02One-tap renewal lifted repeat orders across the membership base.
- 03A cinematic tone made the studio feel worth showing up for.
Next case study
